CLASSIC CAR SHOW EXHIBIT
We have a teriffic Show planned for 2008!!! Booths are selling out quickly--we are already 85 percent booked and it's only the first of January!
Once again, we will bring back the classics...that is the classic cars of course. Our event participants always look forward to shining up and showing off some of their most prized possessions. If you have a classic car that you would like to enter in the show, please contact the TABA office today and we will get you registered.
This year also brings an added attraction, the Central Texas Travel & Leisure Expo. This addition is brought about in conjunction with our area Chambers of Commerce and City Marketing Departments to show off what Central Texas has to offer.
Central Texas is a travel destination for many people. Bell County has a great history and many fun things to offer people and we want to help show that off. The travel and leisure exhibit will be based in the concourse area of the Expo Center with 26 booths available for rent.
The center booth display has been determined. This year we plan to construct what we are calling the “Project Playhouse”. Pat Patterson of Patco Construction has generously offered to construct a childrens playhouse that TABA will raffle off during the Home & Garden Show. We are very excited about this, as half of the proceeds will be donated to the Childrens Miracle Network. The winner of the playhouse will be drawn at the close of the show on Sunday night, February 24th.
Raffle tickets will be sold during the Preview Party and during show hours, Saturday and Sunday for $5 each. Heart of Texas Landscape and Irrigation has agreed to dress up the surroundings of the playhouse. By the time these guys are finished with it, it will look like it is nestled in a park. Children will be invited to check it out during the show and all show announcements and raffle ticket sales will be conducted from the center booth this year.
We have a great team of members that are committed to bringing a great home show to Central Texas and we hope you are looking forward to another fantastic show.
