Summer snuck up on me.  Before I knew it, it's 100 degrees outside and it is time for me to get the directory information put together and begin planning in earnest for the 2011 Home and Garden Show!  Can somebody tell me where the year has gone??  All the Facebook posts are talking about time flying, children graduating and summer already being here.  We are already mid-way through 2010 with two very successful events under our belt and we are ready to finish out our fundraising year with a bang.

We have two TABA fundraising events scheduled for the month of July - the Annual Golf Tournament and the Reverse Raffle.  Two very different types of events, both equally fun and exciting.  We invite all of our golfers and non-golfers to come out for a day of golfing fun and relaxation at Wildflower Country Club on July 12th.  Not long after, on the evening of July 23rd, come in from the heat and take a shot at winning some great prizes during a membership dinner.  The top prize is a 4x2 John Deere Gator.  I can personally attest to the usefulness of these things.  When I didn't win the gator in the 2008 raffle, my husband and I went out and bought one the following week and have been enjoying it ever since!  Tickets are on sale now and there are only 240 available so buy early!

Well that's it from my desk.  I hope everyone stays cool this summer - it looks like it's going to be a scorcher.  Don't forget to sign up for the golf tournament and purchase your reverse raffle tickets.  I urge you to not wait until the last minute.  There is limited space in the golf tournament and a limited number of tickets sold for the raffle.  Call the office if you have any questions.
